Pants and Seatless Pants represent part of HR4 garment against thermal risks, phey provide reliable foot protection with an emphasis on radiant heat and molten metal splashes. They are used in combination with shorter coats or aprons that cover their upper edge, or also separately.
They should be used in hazardous environment that requires short jacket and Gaiters (HR4_G) or Slipover Leggings (HR4_NN)cannot be used. Pants and Seatless Pants have some disadvantages in direct comparison with Gaiters and Slipover Leggings – comfort and taking on/off.
